O-PHOSPHORYLETHANOLAMINEe는 동물 세포막에서 발견되는 스핑고지질의 일종인 스핑고미엘린 합성에 사용됩니다. O-포스포릴에탄올아민은 다음과 같이 사용되었습니다.

• 형질전환된 인간 간 상피(THLE)-2 및 THLE-3 세포 배양 시 보충제로 LHC-8 배지에서 사용
• C-반응성 단백질(CRP) 결합 자당 부양 실험
• 포스파타제 활성 검출을 위해 음이온 교환 크로마토그래피(AEC) 분획과 함께 포스포모노에스테르를 배양합니다.
• 돌연변이 CRP의 크로마토그래피 정제를 위한 포스포릴에탄올아민(Pet)-접합 세파로스 컬럼 제조를 위해 세척된 비드를 첨가합니다.
